#Review of Dare You by Mari Carr #ContemporaryRomance

In the two years since her divorce was finalized, Josie’s life has become one long, boring routine. She has her hands full as a single parent, and while she’s not looking for a serious relationship, she sure wouldn’t mind getting laid. So she creates the “Howl List”. Every full moon, she will indulge in a different sexual fantasy. Right at the top? Sex without strings.

Fate leads her to the Blue Moon bar. After all, what better place to howl? And when she meets Jake, the sexy bartender, and engages in some red-hot sex with a stranger, her resolution seems to be off to a great start.

At least, until Jake dares her to give him all her full moons…

My Review

I really enjoyed Jake and Josie's story. Jake was hard not to love and Josie was the type of person who you want to find their happily ever after.

There aren't nearly as many single mom romances as their are single dad ones, so I enjoyed seeing how that was dealt with in the story. Josie's ex is a thorn in her side and has an ego to boot. He created a good deal of drama in the story, but I was pleased with how the author dealt with the situations that arose.

As is implied in the blurb, there is quite a bit of sex in this book, but it in no way takes away from the story. I plan to add more of this author's books to my TBR list.
