She backed toward the bed, pulling him with her. He nearly tripped over his feet trying to keep up with her eagerness. They’d been teasing each other all night. He couldn’t wait to get her clothes off her.

Her knees came into contact with the bed, bringing their bodies flush. He took the opportunity to kiss her thoroughly. By the time he released her lips, they were both panting. “I think it’s time to get this dress off of you.”

“Mm. I think that’s an excellent suggestion.”

But instead of removing her dress, she dropped to her knees. “Happy anniversary.”
