The first Monday in February. Where has the time gone? Then again, anything that gets us closer to spring and rid of all this snow we've been getting is a good thing in my opinion. The only downside is that I have a ton more writing to do on my WIP, and the calendar never seems to work in my favor.
Unfortuantely, I didn't get anymore writing done this week. I ended up having to spend half a day in the dentist office this last week getting a filling redone that popped out.
This past week, I welcomed fellow TWCS author Lissa Bryan to the blog. She recently released her second book, The End of All Things. If you missed her post, click here.
Then, on Thursday I ended up driving down near Cincinnati to be interviewed by a syndicated television show called The List. It was my first television interview, so I was both excited and nervous. Click here if you'd like to watch.
Friday I took part in Flash Fiction Friday, where writers are given a picture prompt and asked to write 100 words and only 100 words about it. Its not as easy as you think it is.
Saturday kicked off my Red Zone blog tour. Its running from February 2nd thru March 2nd, and there will be interviews, guest posts, and giveaways throughout, so don't miss out. I've posted the list of all the stops below.

Good Morning Texas
Today turned out to be a pretty exciting day. I woke up this morning to a picture on my Facebook page of two of the TWCS staff (Amanda Hayward, CEO and Jenny, Marketing Director) on Good Morning Texas. The picture also had a row of books lined up on a coffee table with some of the publishing house's more recent titles. My novel, Behind Closed Doors, was among them.
The interview mostly talked about Fifty Shades of Grey, but it was still exciting to see my book sitting there. It's first time on TV! :)
If you'd like to check out the interview, click here.
