Weekly Update & Contest Announcement ~ September 9, 2013

Hello everyone. I hope you're having a great start to your week.

Writing & Editing

Writing is going good. I'm roughly 23K words into Paul's book, the third in my Daniels Brothers Series. For those of you who've been following this series, and have read Behind Closed Doors and Red Zone, you know that Paul is the eldest in the Daniels clan. He and his lady...and Chloe...have been keeping me on my toes.

I'm almost through the first round of edits for Finding Anna Book 4. Once that's finished, my lead editor and I will go through it one more time, and then it's off to the copy editor for all the fun grammar and spelling corrections. By the end of the copy edit, I should have a release date, so keep an eye out for that.

Reading

The last two years, reading hasn't been a priority for me. I've been so busy with writing and editing that I just didn't have time. I'm trying to change that.

Last Thursday, I posted a review of Once & Always by Grace Brannigan. If you missed my review, you can view it here.

Currently I'm working on Hotblooded by Erin Nicholas. It's a contemporary romance. I'm 63% into it, and I'm really enjoying the story. If you like contemporary romance, you should check this out. So far, I'm impressed, and I will most likely be checking out more books from this author in the future.

Hidden Threat

The big news last week was that my debut novel, Hidden Threat, was loaded to Netgalley. Hidden Threat was one of the first titles released by my publisher, TWCS. Because of that, it's not only getting a fresh new cover, but we are in the process of re-editing it as well. Look for the re-release coming soon, along with a blog tour.
