Flash Fiction Friday - May 31, 2013

Jenna tried to stifle her giggle, but it was useless. It didn’t help that her sister, Allie, was standing beside her not even attempting to hide her amusement. Their parents insisted they attend the gallery opening, saying it would be a great way to meet eligible young men.

That thought made Jenna laugh harder. The only eligible men in attendance were old enough to be their father. As it was, they were stuck looking at paintings of men in various compromising positions like the one they were currently staring at. Guess he’ll learn to shut the door from now on.
