http://amzn.to/1qbK8DO

Excerpt:
Pulling her loose, button-down shirt tighter around her, she got out of the car and went to the trunk. There wasn’t much to retrieve, just two bags. That was all her life consisted of now. All she had chosen to bring with her. The rest of her old life was either in storage, or had been donated to Goodwill. She didn’t need reminders. She had enough of those all on her own.

4.  Authors only 1 excerpt per week, please.
5. Once you've posted your teaser, feel free to share on social media http://bit.ly/1u2bvUT.

A huge smile lit up her face, and all the worry he’d seen a moment ago vanished. She reached the bottom of the escalator, and rushed toward him. Without any hesitation, Megan dropped her bags at his feet, wrapped her arms around his neck, and hugged him.

What he felt in that moment was difficult to describe. A whiff of lilac and cherries filled his nostrils as her warm body pressed solid against his. He circled his arms around her waist and returned her embrace, enjoying the feel of her in his arms. She was home.

As Paul sat in the darkened kitchen eating the soup he knew Megan most
likely made just for him, he considered his options. He still didn’t think he
was good enough for her—or anyone, for that matter—but although Megan
knew what he’d done, she didn’t seem to agree. Could he give a
relationship with her a chance? Would it work, or was he setting them both
up for failure? He was thirty-six years old. She was twenty-three. Did they

even want the same things?

downstairs once she wakes up so you can get some rest.”

“Thanks.”

He headed toward the stairs, but she stopped him. “And Paul?”

“Yes?”

This time the smile on her face wasn’t so sleepy and innocent. “Thanks
again for the coffee.”

Even with his desperate need for sleep, Paul couldn’t help but respond to
that twinkle in Megan’s eye. She knew what she was doing. He’d give her
that.

She set his messages on his desk, just to the right as she always did. Before she was able to retract her hand however, he stopped her. The gesture was innocent, just a light touch to halt her movement, but she could feel the heat of it seeping through her skin.
“Thank you, Elizabeth.”
She swallowed nervously. His hand felt warm and comforting while making the anxious feeling in the pit of her stomach explode. “You’re welcome,” she managed to say.
“Do you have a minute?” His hand didn’t leave her wrist.

“Y-yes. Sure.”

“What—”
“Patience.”
It was my turn to sigh. I was trying very hard not to lose my temper.
“It’s about time, Coleman.”
Jade elbowed Cal. “Stop it.”
“What’s going on?”
Cal didn’t move, but Jade did. She slipped a key card into the door and opened it.
Not knowing what was going on, but figuring the sooner I got inside the sooner I would get my answers, I stepped over the threshold and into the room. Three seconds later, I stopped breathing.

someone breathing. Someone was holding me. It was as if I were
underwater. I could hear things, but they all seemed muffled and far away.
If someone was holding me, though, I couldn’t be underwater, right?

Gradually the sounds became voices. A television.

There were arms around me, holding me against a chest. I breathed deep,

and a familiar scent filled my nostrils. Stephan.

Before they made it more than a few feet, the new arrival noticed their entrance and was quickly racing toward them. Correction. He was racing toward her.

“Oh! This must be her,” he gushed.

She was right where I thought she’d be, just outside the kitchen waiting for me as she had been yesterday. The difference today was that she was looking up at me and smiling. I dropped my keys on the table beside the door and went to her.

I circled my arms around her, bringing her close. I heard a small sigh escape her as my hands traveled up her back and into her hair. “How are you feeling?” I whispered before pulling back to look into her eyes.

“Better,” she said, looking just as relieved as I felt.

Just as he was ready to plate the eggs, he saw movement out of the corner of his eye. She was standing there in one of his T-shirts and a blanket wrapped around her.

It was only with great effort that he managed not to drop the eggs. Trying to distract himself he said, “I made breakfast. Hope you’re hungry.” When he looked up, she smiled and his heart slammed against his chest, making it difficult to breathe. If he thought she’d been nearly irresistible before . . .

Tuesday Teasers - Read/Share Excerpts

Just a few simple rules.

Slave (Finding Anna, Book 1) by Sherri Hayes
BDSM/Romance/New Adult
http://ph.thewriterscoffeeshop.com/books/detail/30

Excerpt:
Brianna was quiet the entire ride home, and I wondered what she was thinking. I caught her clamping her lips together a few times, which told me she wasn't just passively watching buildings go by.

When we arrived back at the condo, I went upstairs and let her know she was free to do as she wished until it was time to make dinner. As I logged onto my e-mail, I could hear her moving around downstairs and wondered what she was doing with her time. My mind seemed to be on little else these days.
